My work explores the relationship between structure and freedom, discipline and intuition. Drawing inspiration from architecture, minimalism, geometry, and abstract expressionism, I create compositions that investigate rhythm, repetition, texture, and the emotional potential of space.

Through layers of acrylic, palette knife work, and gestural mark-making, I build surfaces that reward closer observation. Repetition serves as both a visual and philosophical tool, revealing subtle variations that emerge through process, patience, and restraint. Influenced by a lifetime spent in movement—from competitive athletics to performance and film—I approach painting as an extension of that experience, balancing control with spontaneity.

Rather than offering fixed narratives, my work creates space for interpretation and reflection. Through geometry, color, texture, and negative space, I aim to construct environments where viewers can engage with their own perceptions, emotions, and sense of discovery.
